The impact of AI on society10 January 2022
In this article I try to give a simple overview of the topic of climate change. A correct basic information must be part of the cultural baggage of every person who wants to be able to discuss these issues. There is a real need: there are many interests that slow down corrective actions or even contest the existence of the problem. Science has long done its part in clarifying what is happening and there can never be too many people who are able to pass this message in an authoritative and informed way in society.
I was born in Trento in 1956. I graduated in Physics at the Scuola Normale of Pisa and I got my PhD at the University of Paris IX, Orsay. Since 1992 I am Full Professor of Experimental Physics at the Department of Physics, University of Trento. To the research activity I add the scientific divulgation, with books, interviews and participation to events.
